Web Server Image for Compute Engine

Description

This disk image can be installed on Google Compute Engine service. It has a preinstalled set of applications for running a webserver on Compute Engine.

Applications in this package:

PHP 7

MariaDB 10

Varnish

Nginx

Various modules

Additional scripts:

Daily database local backup

Weekly Files local backup

One Month of backups stored

Recommended minimum hardware:

70GB HDD or SSD hard drive

VM with 1 vCPU, 3.75 GB memory

*VM can be simplier, but 70GB drive is required

Estimated monthly costs:
28-33$ charged by Google for recommended Compute Engine Usage with SSD drive
*Cheaper with simplier VM and HDD drive. (Not recommended)

Technical Assistance:

2 hours of technical support included

Website configs, Email relay server, website migrations, help with SSL

Installation:
Upon purchase you will need to provide your Compute Engine Account Administrator Email, which will receive image of the webserver.
That image will than appear in https://console.cloud.google.com/compute/images and will be available for usage.
If any work is required on the newly installed webserver, access should be provided by the owner.
Other notes: Image description contains root password, mariadb root password and some server specific details.

Note, that Compute Engine doesn’t allow sending mails through regular ports and a relay server must be set up.
Webserver Image includes a draft config for MailJet Relay Server.
